How does it work

DATA COLLECTION
The device uses its weighing scales to periodically measure the weight of beehives and monitors weather conditions through its integrated weather station. Via GPRS or WiFi, the measured data are stored to a gateway or an external server. This enables a beekeeper to access the data through a gateway screen, via SMS messages or through an on-line application.

PROVIDING INFORMATION TO A BEEKEEPER
Once a day, at a specific time, the device automatically sends SMS messages on issues related to individual hives, their average weight and the difference in weight compared to the previous day, and the current temperature. Of course, the respective data can be obtained via an SMS message at any time.
